Souderton Strikers shares a distinct level of Passion for the game of Field Hockey amongst its coaches and players. We aim to Develop our athletes at the grassroots level, through year-round training in the outdoor and indoor game, to elevate their understanding and enable them to Compete at the highest level.

ABOUT US

Originally named Indian Valley United, it all started in 2005 as three area coaches wanted their schools to play during the winter months. Since that time the club has continued to evolve and grow into a consistent performer at area Tournaments, Qualifiers, Festival and the National Indoor Tournament.

Coaches

- Up to 20 different Coaches from strong ​college field hockey programs

- Three Goalie Coaches on staff


TEAMS

- Teams offered at each age level (U10 / U12 / U14 / U16 / U19)​

- Teams participate throughout the year for Indoor and Outdoor Field Hockey

- Compete at Largest College Showcases


INDOOR SEASON

- Structured and Organized practices and Tournament Schedule

- ​Practices Start Nov 1 and run weekly til mid March

- Team play in 2 to 3 tournaments a month with a total of 5 for the season


NATIONAL INDOOR TOURNAMENT (NIT)

- Plans to for teams to Qualify and attend the ​​​National Indoor Tournament

- Teams sent from each age group


PROGRAM OFFERINGS​

- We offer Elite to Beginner programs and training

- Indoor Season (training and tournaments)​

- Annual Tournament Teams for Outdoor (Nov / Jan / April / Summer)

- Junior Premier Outdoor League (spring training and games)​​

- Harleysville Field Hockey & Lacrosse Camps​ (week-long summer camps)

- Junior Stars Field Hockey and Junior Stars Lacrosse​


GENERAL CLUB INFO

All players must be USFHA members​​​​

​All players must have a practice pinnie​  (Available to buy at first practice)

RECENT EVENTS

The U16 Red Indoor Team competed in the USA Field Hockey 2023 National Indoor Tournament. The team was assigned to the Sapporo Pool and won all three pool play games over Friday and Saturday.

Following pool play, the team placed into Justice Tier 1, facing two other pool winners. The team finished the weekend with two additional wins and a Gold Medal!
